Corporate Tax Advisory and Compliance for Companies in Mumbai

Company tax returns, advance tax and tax positions – prepared by someone who also understands the accounts behind them.

A company's tax return is only as sound as the books and judgement behind it. Depreciation, disallowances, deferred tax, the choice of tax regime, and the timing of advance tax all flow from decisions made months earlier. Nishita has prepared and reviewed company tax returns, computations and tax planning for private and public companies for over a decade, and works with your finance team from the first advance tax instalment to the final return.

Who this is for

  • Private limited companies
  • Unlisted public companies

What's covered

Company income tax return

Tax regime evaluation

Advance tax

How it works

  1. 1

You tell us what's going on.

A short call or email: what you need, what's already been filed, and what the deadline is.

  2. 2

    You get a checklist.

One specific list of documents for your case – nothing generic, nothing you don't need.

  3. 3

    We do the working.

Records are reviewed, figures are matched with government portals, and the return, report or reply is prepared.

  4. 4

You see it before it's filed.

The draft is walked through with you, in plain language, before anything is signed or submitted.

  5. 5

We file and send you proof.

Acknowledgements and final copies come to you the same day.

  6. 6

    We stay on it.

Processing, intimations and any follow-up from the department are tracked until the matter is closed.

Questions people ask

When is a company's income tax return due?

Companies require an audit, so the return has generally been due by 31 October after the year ends, and later where transfer pricing applies. Dates are notified each year and are confirmed for you.

Should our company opt for the concessional tax regime?

It depends on the deductions and incentives you currently claim, any MAT credit you hold, and your plans. The option is generally irreversible once exercised, so it's worth a numbers-based comparison first.

Can you work alongside our in-house accounts team?

Yes. Most companies keep their books in-house; the tax workings, reviews and filings are handled with your team, not instead of it.
